High-quality, reliable water service is essential to everyday life. At the RWA, we want to keep it flowing for everyone.

If you are having trouble paying your water bill, we’re here to help. Our Residential Water Assistance Program offers financial support to eligible individuals and families who are facing financial challenges.

The program is administered by our trusted partner, the Dollar Energy Fund, and can provide a fixed annual grant to eligible residential customers. Grant amounts are determined by gross household income compared to Connecticut’s State Median Income guidelines. Eligible applicants can receive one grant every 12 months.

• $300 for households earning up to 60% of State Median Income.
• $225 for households earning 61%-75% of State Median Income.
