Water Quality Reports

Essential to a thriving community is an abundant, reliable supply of water. The South Central Connecticut Regional Water Authority plays an important role in meeting the water needs of the region. We provide high quality drinking water to over 400,000 consumers. This water quality report, required by federal and state regulations, provides you with a summary of the region’s public drinking water quality.

This brochure contains information for all consumers, including our new customers in the Ansonia, Derby and Seymour service area. Indeed, there is considerable detailed information contained in this report, but we encourage you to read it to learn more about where your water comes from, how it’s protected, treated and tested. Our goal is to help you understand more about the water we supply. New in our 2007 report, we added a “Met Regulatory Standards” column to the charts. We think this new column will help to clearly illustrate that our water meets state and federal drinking water standards.
